We do have an agreement with the two neighbouring bars: the Thirsty River Brewing bar, where you can enjoy local beers and other homemade drinks; and Kavarna 1920 with an assortment of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.

Yes, you can pre-order your local treats, only if you are a group of 10 or more, so we can prepare all the local treats in time for you. Preferably you do so via email anja@boveckitchn.com.

Sure we do! All of our packaging is 100% recyclable and environment friendly. Just let us know, when you order, if you wish to take it to go (covered) or you will eat it there.

A big yes! We prepare our local treats fresh every day with limited seasonal ingredients. We prepare everything by ourselves, so the quality can be controlled. Our local treats therefore come in limited quantities and eventually they can run out. Especially in the main season in summer it happens on a daily basis.

Most of our local treats are gluten-free, except our Bovec rainbow cake and lamb patties. We just have to warn you it is all done in the same place where cross-contamination is possible.

Normally our forest mushroom dish is vegan or it can be done vegan way. If we do not find any mushrooms, we try to have at least one vegan dish, for example the home garden zucchini stew. The rest of the local treats are not vegan, sorry.

We do! Our frika is vegetarian, so are the forest mushroom dish and sheep cottage cheese with potatoes.

You can buy it in our little hut in the main square of Bovec or at our headquarters. You can also order it online in our webshop.

Unfortunately not. We pick the mushrooms ourselves in the local forests. That means the quantities are very limited. We then use them all to make our local treats or to pickle them.
