Mushroom picking and culinary day with Bojan & Anja.
Firstly, we will meet at our base, where we will have breakfast with local delicacies together. After this we will venture into the forests around Bovec, learn the basics of mushroom picking & gather what nature will provide us with. We will head back to the base, where you will learn how to clean, prepare and store mushrooms & together we will cook something yummy in the professional kitchen of Bovec kitch'n.
The experience takes place every Tuesday from June to September, starting at 8.30 or in October/November by appointment. Reservations are required.

THE GUIDED EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
8.30 Meeting & breakfast with local delicacies at Bojan & Anja's
9.30 Mushroom picking in the local forests & learning about mushrooms with an experienced mycologist
12.00 Returning to the base of Bovec kitch'n, snack & getting ready for cooking
12.30 Culinary preparation of picked mushrooms & tasting
In the morning arrive ready for mushroom hunting – wear hiking shoes and long pants. You can bring comfortable shoes for later to change.
The program is approximate, the actual start times may differ from the ones stated above.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to carry out the experience and a maximum of 6 participants are in one group.
In case of bad weather the experience is postponed if possible, otherwise we only do the culinary part.
